Scrap Tires

Requirements

The following requirements apply to ReWorks provided scrap tire recycling option(s):

  • Summit County residents only (no businesses, faith-based organizations, schools, or non-profits)
  • $1 fee per tire (cash only)
  • 10 tire limit per vehicle (passenger car and light truck size)
  • Tires may be on or off the rim

ReWorks Scrap Tire Recycling Option(s) for Summit County Residents

ONE DAY EVENT:  Prior to the seasonal opening of the Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Center (HHWRC) ReWorks’ hosts a one day Scrap Tire Collection event. No household hazardous waste will be collected at this one day event. Day/time for this event will be updated in the early spring of 2022.

DURING HHWRC SEASON:   ReWorks accepts scrap tires at the Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Center (HHWRC) during our June through the end of September operating season.

The HHWRC is at 1201 Graham Road in Stow, Ohio. For hours, directions, and a list of acceptable items, visit the HHW page.
