These additional instructions are in place in response to COVID-19.
HHWRC - Vehicle Unloading Process
- Residents must remain in vehicles at all times
- Containers used to transport materials to the Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Center (HHWRC) can be returned. This includes:
- Bags
- Boxes
- Buckets
- Specialty containers such as those for gasoline, motor oil and antifreeze
- Place all Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and tires in vehicle trunks or truck beds only
- Do not place personal belongings by your HHW or tires
- Do not hand any HHW to the technicians
- Any residents not abiding by these instructions may be asked to leave the facility
Scrap Tire
- No personal belongings stored next to tires
- 10 tire limit per vehicle is still in place
Document Shredding and Recycling Events:
- Place all documents in vehicle trunks or truck beds only
- Place documents in cardboard boxes, files boxes or paper bags only
- No plastic containers
- Do not place personal belongings by your documents
- Do not hand documents to the event staff
- Reminder: you must remain in your vehicle at all times
ReWorks' Communication
- ReWorks will maintain 6 feet distance while surveying residents through their opened driver's window
- All questions at the HHWRC will be directed to contact the ReWorks' office or to visit the ReWorks' website
